So, today was Christmas....It was my first Christmas being divorced, but my 3rd Christmas with Jimey gone...I think I put on a fairly good show for the day, but it really took it's toll on me. It is hard to celebrate a holiday where family is so important and mine isn't whole anymore.
My girls and I did have a wonderful Christmas though. When I got them up this morning to see if Santa came, the first thing they did was get the presents that were for me and let me open mine first...how sweet is that? For Christmas I got them a bunk bed! They were soooooo excited!
When we got home tonight, John opened his bedroom window and yelled out that they didn't want any....I told the girls that Uncle John likes to tease them because he loves them soooo much. Bailey responded with this......"Even though Uncle John is my Uncle, he feels like my dad"
I am so thankful that John has made my girls feel loved as any dad would. I will forever be grateful to John for what he has done for me and my girls. I love you John and Lindsay. Merry Christmas!

I am sooo glad I can post. Yay for you! I was definitely proud of how amazing you were on Christmas! The girls had a great day, and it is because you are so strong for them.
Love you!
